The Energy Independent Farm is a new approach, where farmers will be able to generate their own energy to run their farm and agricultural equipment. And all of this will be done using Hydrogen, 100% generated from renewable resources, which farmers have plenty of. We wait for you at Agritechnica 2011
Wow! Amazing!

You know I cam see using solar and wind for agriculture, but for a large city, no. There is a place and use for everything.

New holland is obviously make the world more energy independent so if the world can do that why can't we make a truck that gets great MPGs but ain't the size of a sand box

Think algae :D Hydrogen requires too much energy to make...its cost outweighs its benefit. You also have to mess with water to get the hydrogen.

furthermore, there is no such thing as hidrogen being used as a fuel, since we have NO hidrogen (h2) on earth, and generating hidrogen consumes more energy than it produces.
in the best casescenario, it could be used as a better battery, and in the worst - it's obsolete.

ok.
Thanks:D

@quadarinxxx No. It can be used in vehicles powered by fuel-cells which run on electric motors. Fuel-cells generate electricity. they are compact enough to be installed on a vehicle as source of electric energy. Check video on "NH² Hydrogen Powered Tractor". Currently the problem is hydrogen production infrastructure, which is not developed, but vehicles on fuel-cells are existing already.

@haimaphil
so that means you can use H2 on an ordinary diesel motor?
Thanks!!

@quadarinxxx to use it in fuel cells. to run machinery. H2 is used instead of fuel
