  • You did fine work.... but those welds look like crap....I hope you didn't pay much for that. I hope you cleaned and painted the bare metal for corrosion resistance on the crossmember.

  • Yes. I agree. The welds were not the best. No, I did not pay much. I did clean and paint it afterwards. As long as it holds without further cracking I will be happy. Thanks for the comment. Drain plug works great. No leaks. @Lov2tinker

  • Good question. There is no separate fill for the torque converter. It will fill automatically when you add fluid back through the dipstick and then start the engine afterward.
