I am looking at doing combining equine therapy combined with my Child and Youth Care (CYC) practice because this seems like such a natural combination. I enjoyed this video very much, thanks for posting it!

As to new age psychobabble -- What Dede does is certainly not that. The "magic" is in the fact that every nuance of what she is observing with the client and the choices for therapeutic intervention she is making simply appear to be laid back conversation. This work is actually quite technical. I don't believe that there has been much, if any, research on what this is, which is largely the application of Albert Pesso and Diane Borden's psychomotor therapy to the context of equine therapy.

@narcissiste84 Watch the video. It worked for her. Therefore, it worked. Whether it works better than other forms of therapy is completely debatable, but not the validity of the therapy itself. Maybe you should do more research into what equine therapy is and how it is applied before you start labeling things and dismissing them.
