The dress is a Victorian era mourning dress, she is wearing a locket which may contain a lock of hair or a tintype photo, she also wears a chatelaine purse which is suspended by a hook on her waistband. I think she looks great and sounds even better, I can feel the goosebumps on my skin as she sings. Low and melancholy, song probably originates around Civil War era, which it looks like she may have been trying to convey.

I don't know people's exact ages. But there are loads of young people on you tube singing Maria songs. Either just with a guitar or piano.

@EuropeanMale1976 You have the right to your opinions, but you're really stepping over the line with comments like Maria has a "suicidal way of thinking". You're welcome to tell her yourself, she sometimes answers comments on FB. Tell her things like her music after 1996 needs to be destroyed and that her dresses are ugly and she needs to look more like Faith Hill and that she shouldn't tour anymore. Go listen to some bland happy pop if that's your thing. I'm done with all this negativity.

@EuropeanMale1976 If you don't like Maria's career choices or think her newer work is 'pulp' you are free not to listen. Maria went through the major label machine that pretty much chewed up and ruined Lone Justice. Ask her, ask Ryan Hedgecock. Compare the album Shelter to their early performances at the Palamino. If she's wary of majors I don't blame her, they destroy art and try to make everything sound like the same watered-down, nonthreatening drivel that dominates the charts.

@EuropeanMale1976 A certain kind of person, like people who respect her talent and don't want to turn her into a cookie cutter singer like Faith Hill (sorry Faith Hill fans). The kind of people who enjoy her music and respect that she's staying true to herself.? What was the problem with her Swedish tour or that video, you wrote DISLIKE in the comments, yet she was singing a song from YGTSTGS, which you think is one of her best albums.
