I just got a Jack Russell mix puppy last month myself - I went to the vet today and she told me to look up reverse sneezing on Youtube to see if it sounded like what he was doing. This matches perfectly, and I'm so glad its nothing serious even though it scares the crap outta me whenever I hear it.

omg thank you for posting! my jack russell mixed 21 wk old puppy did this today and i was so worried she was choking or couldn't vomit... i looked it up and came to 'reverse sneezing' and decided to check youtube to see if it was the same thing, hers was just like your doggy's

@oldcooter69 just cover the nostrill it makes them breather out of there mouth and it stops it. i hve a corgi and she does it too. not just jack russell !

I just got a jack russell and he is doing this alos, cant get into a vet for 2 weeks....what did you find out?

My dog had this problem and she ended up dying of heart failure because she could not get oxygen into her lungs

mines done the same thing his whole life (7years so far) all jackies sneeze LOADS i think it is just a breed thing

i also have a jack russel terrier and he does the same thing cant afford to go to the vet right now but from watching other videos with dogs that have similar problems i assume its reverse sneezing .have you gotten any treatment for your terrier is it harmless
