  • C'mon, it's Roger Federer of course!

The fat guy who's talking about Roger isn't the number 1 of his own sport is such an idiot. Who says that Woods can hold his number 1 spot? Federer was the number 1 for 237 consecutive weeks - worldrecord. Woods just doesn't have any opponents, Federer has Nadal, Murray and Djokovic, you have to mention that.

And by the way, tennis is a real sport at least, while golf is so boring!

The only thing you have to do there is to swing your arms, that's silly!

  • pfff the most biased shit that i ever saw. ok they admit that but their arguments are plain dumb. tiger is n1, federer is n2? when federer was reigning n1 for more than 4 and a half years being n1 was not a big deal, the majors were what mattered. now when roger has more majors in an obviously infinitely more demanding sport, all of a sudden it doesnt matter cause tiger is n1 and roger isnt. i hate those american sports commentators fags with their biased crap.btw federer is now n1. now what?

  • @NiggeliNGTiger over Federer for sure. Tiger was impacted his sport more than any other athlete except arguably Jordan. The reason why Woods didn't have competition is not because no one else existed, there was mickelson, els, goosen, furyk to name a few, it was because he was the most dominant athlete in all of sports. Golf is the hardest sport by far and to dominate it is unbelievable because it is SOO hard to be consistent. Golf requires your whole body to swing -130MPH with arms=impossible

  • @trounbyfire that is the dumbest most arrogant comment i have ever heard. Tiger is 6' 1 and weighs 200 pounds. He is in prime shape (not talking about his injuries) and would crush roger federer. Tiger has won 40 times in Europe so don't even talk about golf. Golf is clearly a sport.

  • Well this argument is now dead. I hope Tiger gets his act together (golf-wise, I don't care what he does in his personal life) but Fed is waaaaaaay out in front in everything!!!!

It's Legend vs Oh yeah, that guy who could have been Legend.

  • Rogers not number one is his sport " ,no shit he was number fucking 2. What a joke Federer is a far better athlete than woods and a better person. On the worlds stage Fed is king plus when does woods play asin. fed plays all around the world and is always a crowd favorite no matter place or who is playing him. and like they say golf is a game tennis is a sport

  • tennis is as much, if not more, about the mental state than golf...its a 1 vs 1 sport.

theres alot of mental pressure to deal with...just ask federer when he's 0-40 on his own serve...the way he deals with the enormous amounts of pressure and stays so calm is just amazing...he is incredibly clutch in the tight moments..and that is the hallmark of a true champion..

  • ok, it is true that golf is harder than tennis...and probably tiger woods has had a greater impact on golf (and its history) than federer on tennis...but if you are asking me who is the greater talent, who is the better performer in their respective sport...then its federer. his consistency in grand slams is FRIGHTENING..the guy has reached 23 consecutive grand slam semi finals to date, 16 of the last 17 grand slam finals...tiger woods has NEVER achieved that sort of consistency..ever.

  • It is very difficult to execute a good shot in tennis, especially at the speed these pro's are playing at. You have a million hours to set up for a shot in golf whereas in tennis you are given a mere second to think about you next move. There shouldnt be a dispute regarding the fact that tennis is a way more challenging sport overall.

  • well im not completely convinced that u realise that i already understood that but what i am convinced of is that u really have no idea how difficult it is to put a good swing together. btw, i would argue that the gap between golf and tennis in relation to mental side of things is greater than 2/3

  • Sigh* 2 to 8, happy? That is not my point though. Even if its higher then 1, the physical difference is still greater than the mental difference. Thus, tennis requires more athleticism.
