AVOCADO SELECTION

They determine the maturity of the fruit, being tested in, like dry matter content, 20.8% being the minimum required to Hass Avocado, also verify its consistency in color and texture, tests inside and outside of the fruit, the bark must be dark-skinned and firm, and within, flesh should be yellow to green, indicating more mature than white flesh, should not contain gel or aqueous material in the bone as this is an indication that the fruit is unripe yet. After selecting the fruit is cut down the tree.
CUTTING FRUIT
Hass Avocado Agroexport, is cut piece at a time by hand, using scissors and stairs on the tree, cut above the fruit, leaving a portion of the stem that attaches the fruit to the tree, to longer life and prevent him fall fungi, can also be cut by special harvest machines, avoiding at any part of the cutting a hit on it, suffering some kind of damage or abrasion, is protected from falling or any contact with the ground, after cut is placed in plastic boxes up to a truck perfectly clean and covered, which carries the fruit from the orchard to our packing for processing.
