  • Combo switch sounds the best. Thanks for the review. Have you considered the Behringer Ultra G DI? It's supposed to be like the Red box (but I think it only has one 4x12 cab sim).

  • @Wookieboner I have used the Engl e530 + GI100's live with Whispered (as an engineer) instead of real amps, and that's why I bought the Red Box, because I got it fairly cheap and I liked how the GI100 sounded.

  • I want the sound of the cabinet simulator direct to my speakers....like this:

    Guitar--------distorsion-------H&K Red Box------preamp,amp----cabinet

    Thanks

  • Hi...Can I use this pedal in the efx loop of the amp to make my distortion tone less sharp and harsh?

  • Hey! :)

Can you tell if I can use it without amp? Just in the end of pedals chain? Or it will ruin this device. I have been thinking of buying it for month. ))) Thanx fore the review by the way! Finally somebody played some heavy stuff with it. I really liked the sound. Much better than I expected.

  • @ahjteam Awesome man. Good to know they're usable, especially for the price.

I was lucky though and found an original ADA MicroCab rack mount for cheap. Had to scour the web for the correct power supply but I think it's pretty cool with the different cab options.

    Thanks for the vids!

    Wookie
