i listen to those bands they may not be the "real" oldschool punk shit, the may not come even close to punk-rock, but it"s wath i like, and some other people this kind of music too, so don"t be such an ass..

I'll respect that as it's your opinion. But I'd like to say that Green Day is far from the mainstream American-Canadian pop punk everyone loves to listen to now. Examples are rubbish Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan, Sum 41, Hey Monday and more.

On the other hand, Green Day still fits in with Rancid, the Offspring, the Muffs, the Queers, Pansy Division, Operation Ivy, the Ramones, NOFX (maybe) and more. And NOT Anti-Flag, and all that.

Seriously, have you heard GD's old stuff?
