This video is a continuation of the video of Shane Patton and other Navy SEALs going through jump school. I had helped Shane create this video and the Arnold Schwarzenegger thing at the end was just for laughs.

I just read "Lone Survivor"... Shane was a dude man, a real dude.. Fills me with pride and patriotism reading such a heroic tale.

Everytime I eat at the Coffe Cup. I look at Shane's picture and I am reminded to live my life to the fullest each day. Shane and Matt Commons (a army ranger who was killed trying to rescue Navy SEAL Neil Roberts)are our heroes from Boulder City. Matt is buried in Arlington National cemetery. Shane is buried in the Nevada Veterens cementery here in Boulder City. Shane and Matt will be remembered every day.

This was likely during pre-deployment work up since the video was on March 3, 2005 only 3 months before Op Redwing.

@fengineer08. The jump training BUDS graduates receive is static line. This is MFF, which would be completed later on in their training. Unless things have changed that drastically over the years that I'm dating myself. RIP Shane

@CHASEPATTON It would be SQT if its jump school. Your brother had a great spirit and sense of humor. I know how it is to lose someone close. You gotta live it up for him everyday. Did you ever consider going to BUD/s as well? take it easy man.
