The Ka Mate is one of the Hakas or Māori ceremonial dances from New Zealand. In this video it is performed by the London New Zealand Rugby Club at Passendale, in front of the ROCT (Rugby Olympique Club Tourcoing) of France, on Sunday the 7th October 2007. The memorial rugby match was played to remember the New Zealand soldiers (with among them the All Black Captain David Gallagher) who fell in battle during the First World War at Passchendaele.
