John F. Kennedy hints at the threat of secret societies. He is talking about communism, but he is ALSO talking about the secret societies that run America behind the scenes. He is speaking out against the very people that assassinated him.

He was not warning of shadow government, and the audio is spliced to eliminate important context. The transcript for the speech can be found by googling for his April 27, 1961 speech. The point of the speech was that he was asking the news media to self censor communist propoganda. Exchange "communist" for "terrorist" and you could hear Obama giving the speech. He was working the crowd folks - a typical politician asshole.

Actually, this isn't the speech he gave, it has been edited. JFK was actually talking about the threat of Communism (not a "shadow government") and was threatening newspaper editors that they could be prosecuted for reporting things the Feds didn't want them to. In the full, unedited speech, he said, for example, "...the courts have held that even the privileged rights of the First Amendment must yield to the public's need for national security." JFK gets WAY too much credit.
