why can't all harp tutorials be done on a C? guaranteed 95% of beginners watching these videos have a C harp, not a goddamn e flat. come on now

@adamwoodall me again, more info please, i've heard that the big river is difficult to 'bend' and that the special 20 is the one to go for ? am i trying to run before i walk ?.

@paulthepill thanks adam, so u think the big river is the one best suited for a novice, i only ask as after a little research i've heard that suzuki are giving honer a run for their money, have you come across these ? your opinion would be greatly appreciated.

ok, as i've always wanted to play the gob-iron and am never gonna get round to playing the geetar, what should i ask for at my friendly musical instrument shop ? do these things come in different keys ?...so i'm a novice but i dont want to sound like a complete nerd...can anyone help ?

Hey Paul,There are two styles to play. Strait harp and cross harp.
strait harp is same harp to same key as in C harp /C song (it's the bob dylan folky style)
cross harp is five above what the key of the song is as in C harp G blues,A harp E blues. Just count up five from your harp and you will be in the right key. This is for blues style of playing. Best bet,buy a C harp and look on the internet for songs in C or G.
