@Orientalscholar88 Yes definately I,ve seen it many times. Also i'm 6'5" and a decent judo practioner myself but have many times been beaten by opponents thats way smaller than me. Either because they quite simply were better practisioners than me or that they have out-smarted me in combat.

@Orientalscholar88 yes you can .. ( im 5'6 ) i used judo against a 6'2 and 255 lbs bully in street fight ..trust me on this : nothing works better then judo techinques against BIGGER+TALLER+ETC opponents ( i broke his shoulder and missed up his spine real bad )

@Orientalscholar88 I know men that are 5'5 black belts that defeat men over 6'2 black belts all the time. I would assume your talking about pure judo were there chokes and submission allowed? Our sport judo? Either way yes, it really depends on the person. Shorter guys are hard to throw because there base. Thats why in wrestling you dont see alot of guys that are tall wining. I find stocky guys with thick large hands do very well in judo. Just focus on skill and you will do great.

You probably have been asked this question many times before but I'll ask it anyway. Could a man who is 5'6" and is a judo master defeat a man who is 6'2" or taller and weighs 250 lbs. and doesn't know judo?
