Also, they could've easily changed the vocal style without totally changing the music; singing an octave down would've worked just fine

But lots of bands that sound modern and are really good.I now that there are very bad bands these days, but dont judge a band for not sounding 80s heavy, or thrash metal. originality, spirit, and technic is what you see in a band..

god damn if you people would pay attention. HE WAS 15-16 WHEN THEY DID THERE FIRST ALBUM. Before he was fully through PUBERTY. He is now 18. When you hit that, like most of you havn't/wont, your voice gets DEEPER. Therefor, HE CANNOT SING LIKE HE DID ON THE FIRST ALBUM. So they changed the music to fit the vocals. I love the new shit and old shit. Quit fucking hating and gtfo if you dont like them

they have come a long way. their new stuff is progress and its something that all bands go through. these guys put so much time and passion into their music and carry it well.
people say the same damn thing like 'oh theyve gone shitty now' 'old stuff was better' 'why did he change the vocals'
maybe its cos theyve grown up?! life goes on, new ideas come into play, styles change. its still Black Tide. be a fan, get a grip and just be open to their new ideas.

i think that the panix is more of punk with some of thier stuff and i really hope black tide gets some help to stay more like this and not revert to the shit that alot of kids my age would like............"
