The Aloha Chapter of the ATOS was very active in the 1970s and 1980s presenting concertes and silent movie shows at the Hawaii Theatre in Downtown Honolulu. This news item reports on a benefit show in 1984. Veteran organist Frank Loney is interviewed. Bob Alder performs on the organ and on stage. Well known entertainer Karen Keawehawaii was a special guest.

  • All of the major theatre organs in Hawaii were built by Robert-Morton.

  • The organ is so much fun! I have played many electronic organs, including a pipe organ at my home parish church. It would be my dream to play the theater pipe organ!
