This is an easy way to pitch kicks. Make them change notes without making them sound bad.
You can also use this technique for crashes, snares, claps etc.

I will not upload or send any saws, samples or melodies.

  • this maybe is a noob question: C5= +-0 cent, how to know what the other keys are?

  • @MrTeno98 C5 is in the middle. +1 octave means C6 -1 octave means C4. Other times it maight say Pitch then you have to change +- 12 notes to pitch it 1 octave. Detuning is fine tuning. Often it is just one note that you tune wich means default is 1 then you tune it +- 1 note for example 1.5 or 0.438, you can be very acurate.

In this case, 100 cents is 1 note, wich means you have to pitch it 1200 cents to pitch 1 octave.

  • wow HHz Kick?

  • @DarksweedCOD Yea, is there a problem?

(Notice that I DONT focus on the kick itself. I focus on how to pitch sampled sounds.)

  • u pitch the punch also not very good

  • @jomaz64 I know that. This is just a quick video of how you can pitch your sampled kicks/basslines/basstails etc.

If you are lazy then you can pitch the whole kick. Otherwise, have 2 copies of your kick, cut out the punch on one of them and the basstail on the other and then pitch only the basstail. Simple :)

  • @shqipcashmoney haha, you must be really stupid if you really think that stuff works on me.

An advise: Check in on a mental hospital. You really have some serious problems.

  • @shqipcashmoney yeah hardstyle is much better, also no one gives a shit what you think!

  • Also, a tip. To find the setting you need to pitch the sample in cents, just look at the piano roll and count the 'steps' up or down you want to pitch it (Including the black keys). Each one is exactly 100 cents because of the way we tune our music at this point in history.

  • I wish I could just press the keys or use the piano roll and it would pitch it with this method instead of the resampling. Does anyone know if this is possible?

  • i dont hear any difference between the beginning and with what you ended up. kicks sound awesome in every way.
