Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of vids lately, Important exams coming up. This video is a slightly improved version of the other diy co2 video I made a while ago. In this video I explain how to make the co2 reactor itself and I also go on to explain how to remove the alcohol and diffuse the co2 into the aquarium water.

If you did enjoy the video or if it helped you I really would appreciate it if you liked the vid and left a comment...thanks guys!

  • whats the name of the diffuser? i don't understand what you said

  • @ArMyBoYLOL ladder diffuser

  • Thanks for the vid, I made the same system over the weekend based on the instructions here. For those who can't find a ladder diffuser, it should be okay to use a regular air stone. Don't get a ceramic diffuser as those require relatively high pressure to work. This system produces constant CO2 at low pressure and it should be okay to leave it on overnight (if you use the same setup and recipe shown here).

  • @mahen4000 Thanks for clearing a few things up, I should put some annotations on telling them about diffusers etc.

  • Could i cut the ingredients and size of the containers in half if I'll only be using it for a 5.5 gallon?

    Great Video Thanks.

  • @flipdog0123456789 you could try, ensure that there is no more than 1 bubble being produced a second
