It is interesting that you find this music "sad and suppressed". I find it very "reflective", that is, it invokes memories that are very pleasant. I find each song will remind me of a certain moment where I was very happy, whether recently or from many years ago.

But the thought of "slapping him with some happy and crazy Mozart" made me laugh.
