1st half of the 2008 Twin Cities Championship game. This time, it was the 2nd meeting between Minneapolis South and St. Paul Central.
Central was the victim of a 20-point blowout in the first match against South. In game 1, Kiara Buford sat for most of the 2nd half with 4 fouls. With a healthy Megan Howard back in the starting five, Central looked to be better prepared this time.
South threw a curve ball of their own by having Ameshia Kearney start in place of Gabby Roberts. Of course, Tayler Hill looked to make sure she wasn't forgotten.
Central had the final word, winning the class AAAA state championship, the first time in school history Central won back-to-back titles.
Stay tuned for an interview session with both teams at the half.
