This is a sort of "drum interpretation" video for Adele's "Set Fire To The Rain." I love the song and wanted to come up with my own grooves for the song and what not. I just used kick, hat, and snare to simplify things (plus it's super fun).
At the end there is a little bit that sounds like latency but it's really just my snare not being perfectly synced to the original drums. My bad.

Gear Used :

Drums: 1970 24x14 Gretsch Stop Sign Badge bass drum
5x14 DW nickel plated steel workshop series snare drum (with bright yellow t-shirt over the head to get that fat 70's snare sound).
14in Meinl dark hi hats.

Mics: Shure KSM27(mono overhead), Audix D6 (kick), Shure SM7 (snare batter), Shure SM57 (snare reso).

Recorded directly into a Korg D3200
