If a kid finds the teacher's gun, you may actually hear a Kindergartner utter the phrase, "Ms. Peterson, I don't believe I'll be participating in nappy time today."
-
@xJoeEDangerouslyx good for you.... LOL

@WigglyMalmsteam I think the world is safer if anyone can have a gun than if nobody is supposed to have a gun. Doing that would decrease the supply of guns, making them much more valiable, and making smuggling guns into a profitable business. Like with drugs. I think where we are now isn't that bad, and if schools don't want kids to bring in guns, thats great. But I think if there is reason to believe that you are unsafe that you should have a right to a firearm, even at school.

@WigglyMalmsteam Haha, I hope you're joking. It's hard to tell sarcasm via text.
-
@MsRobotRock Yep, because I and any other normal person would totally kill someone for saying something I don't like. And I'm only being half-sarcastic! People have instincts. Back when they were apes, they would kill each other over slight annoyances. Now it isn't too different.

@WigglyMalmsteam I like it. However a law shouldn't be passed requiring people to carry guns.
-
@ewdmei I don't know.... I can't imagine anyone but a hardcore liberal anti-gun nut saying that 5-year-olds shouldn't have guns. I say issue a training gun to every American citizen on his or her first birthday. When I have a kid, I'm going to encourage him to play with guns as much as possible. Kids with guns equals a good idea!
-
@xJoeEDangerouslyx lol.. I simply stated that I thought guns in school were a bad idea. I did not say that I thought the government had the right to infringe on the second amendment.

Do you people know how high gun-related crime is in the States? Do you realise how much higher it is than anywhere in Europe, Japan, Canada, or pretty much anywhere outside of Mexico?
Now that you do, please go and think of a solution that makes sense.
-
@ewdmei Wait... So then you're saying that we can keep the right to keep and bear arms while simultaneously instituting reasonable limits and rules as to where and when those arms can be carried on our persons? So there can be certain situations, places, etc. where we can reasonably say we don't want firearms present and that doesn't mean all the guns are being forcibly confiscated?
That sounds like anti-gun propaganda to me!
So, everyone is safer if everyone has a gun? Maybe the US should pass a law that requires everyone to own a gun. It stands to reason that if everyone has a gun, that less people will be killed by guns. Right? Everyone can actively protect themselves against each other, knowing that they can easily kill each other, thus lowering the overall tension and creating a more positive and peaceful atmosphere in god's America.
