Senator Jungbauer is a wastewater treatment designer with 25 plus years of public policy, environmental science and research experience. He spent two decades becoming a national expert on wastewater treatment design, earning a patent in bioremediation, and has several more patents pending for residential and commercial wastewater systems. He served two terms as mayor of East Bethel and is currently serving his second term in the Minnesota State Senate. Recently, Senator Jungbauer has been appointed to the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) standing committee on Agriculture, Environment and Energy.
