@bob23yer This is the event finals and yes, she took the gold. However, in the All Around competition she fell on her dismount on beam, which cost her the gold.

@intldawn yeah its sad but true. my favorite beam worker of all time is someone who never won a major world or olympic medal on beam but she is IMO the definition of perfect form, extension, flexibility, originality, height, everything...perfect package except not the metal fortitude. she always perfromed well during the team and AA but never during EF

One of the few times I've seen her perform without lots of little balance checks.

@hperez1026 she could do it twice because the code of points was different back in 1995 when you could perform the same skills twice , which is not allowed any more

my favorite gymnast ever - so elegant, strong, graceful, and makes it look so easy - for someone like me who is not a gymnast I can appreciate the beauty but I cannot even fathom the difficulty of these skills.
