Prometheus

This is a partial re-interpretation of the myth of the Titan, Prometheus constructed from found digital video. The story of Prometheus is an example of an origin lore. According to Greek folklore, the demigod, Prometheus, brings fire to humans in defiance of the Olympian Gods spawning mankind's consciousness and 'civilization' (and all of it's evils). The philosophic consideration of the loss of innocence and the responsibilities of knowledge connect this origin legend to those from many different cultures.
