No weapon is invulnerable, as the loss of hte even better protected M1A2 to large mines and multiple missle hits has shown......its still the safest place to be in combat. Similar with the Merkava. The size of the hole that one is sitting in shows the power of the mine. Detonations of internal ordinance can occur as well. It's vastly superior to anything it goes up against armor wise. And it's sad how all the posts like this denigrate into religion arguments. Isreal isn't going anywhere.
