haha this is prime example of what is known as the darkside of hip-hop, chicago has created this sound thanks to it being soo gloomy yet eccentric like house music (the darkside of trance) check out The Opus they are influenced by TRS-80. oh by the way it's called Acid-Jazz if u were wondering genre-wise (yuk labels)
