Unveiling the future World Trade Center

Completeing the Vision:
As Silverstein Properties was preparing an historic presentation premiering the design of three new towers to be erected on the World Trade Center site, GiroudPichot [Now Piranha] created a two-minute animation representing the future development of downtown Manhattan and anticipating the renaissance of the city skyline.

In order to showcase the striking designs of the three new towers designed by Lord Norman Foster, Lord Richard Rogers and Fumihiko Maki (in addition to SOM current plan for the Freedom Tower), GiroudPichot [Now Piranha] shot aerial footage of New York City and then painstakingly integrated the four computer-generated skyscrapers into it.

The Twin Towers were icons of American Independence Wealth and Strength. I know just as many people are for new Twin Towers as there are against them. But I guess the real question we all need to ask ourselves is. What would "We The People" build at Ground Zero if we were the deciders of the plan? Somthing similar of what we were attacked for that day. Or a set of buildings government officials have decided to build, that regular people are paying for in toll hikes by the Port Authority.

I know its a while off and will be the last one built, but I can't wait for 2 WTC to be finished. It and 1 WTC may not be twin towers but they will make a great pair of sister towers nonetheless. I dont care as much for 3 or 4 WTC although I hope they're finished soon too.

@randomstuff6791 along with rebuilt low level buildings with the WTC 7 already completed! When I say that the WTC is only meant for 2 towers, this is what I meant! Do you now understand?

@randomstuff6791 Ok.. Let me be specific! What I meant to say in my recent comments is that the Original WTC complex is composed of 7 buildings! In those 7 you have Low level buildings 3, 4, 5, and 6. High rise building 7 and lastly Towers 1 and 2. Now, the new complex to me doesn't pay tribute to the site! Because now in the new 7 buildings there is the rebuilt of WTC 7 and WTC towers 1, 2, 3, and 4! The WTC site should only have 2 rebuilt towers...

They call it the freedom tower, why didn't they call it the fraud tower.
