Pretty sure this is Paul Barry singing (seem to remember that from the time, sure sounds like him anyway). He was in the Edinburgh band The Questions but now writes for others and doing rather well for himself from it. Enriques "Hero", Chers "Believe" and many more

McEwans export (red can) has made a reappearance of late in the odd supermarkets..

Must have taken a while to collect the earwax to make the heads.......

It sounds like David Sylvian from Japan singing

Did Jan Svankmajer get ripped off here or did he make a bundle?

The faces remind me of Rutger Hauer in Bladerunner! Uncanny!!

@cstro2002 They sell it in a bar in Newcastle called LYH. It's £2.90 a pint though but totally worth it imo!

Sure!
I recorded it by accident in an episode of Hill Street Blues sometime in the '80s, onto VHS.
Last week, I was going through my old tapes with a view to transferring what I wanted to keep to DVD, and I found it. This has always been my favourite ever ad.
So I recorded it to my Panasonic DVD recorder using a video lead from my VHS player.
Using my Linux PC, I ripped it from the DVD using a tool called 'mencoder', and uploaded the resulting AVI video file to YouTube.
