That's one of the main reasons I created this video. So anybody with a little common sense could set up shop in the garage and build almost ANYTHING. This is the way it was in the beginning of WWII guys all over the place started small factories at home! You can too...

The Mazak Integrex is one of the most advanced CNC machines available. Take your banker with you, and if you don't know how to operate a Bridgeport you have no business pushing buttons on an Integrex. - BE SAFE -

the might of america was using this machine to machine machines and dies for american companies..ie general motors, chrysler ford, frigidare, amana, electrolux..etc.. Thanks to greedy governors these companies have sold out to china and mexico and now the bridgeport in MOST shops sit in the corner unused. American innovation that was so abound in the nineties now takes a far back seat to cnc production runs for foreign companies

Maestro! I wish I could hack into your memory - down load ALL of your experience & load it betwixt my ears. But there is only one way to get that experience - get into the truck and drive to work for years.

We had a Bridgeport milling machine in the technical school, but it wasn't an manual one and it had a vertical table. It was (and still is) the first vertical-table machine I've ever used =D

Excellent post. Thank you for sharing. We have one of these fine machines in our shop, and I've only met one person who knew how to operate it properly.
