An Easy How To Decorate Cakepop tutorial, showing you how to make these simple and effective sweet treats for your valentine, friend, mum or anyone you want to say "I love you" to.
I do forget to mention you'll need a love heart cookie cutter in my tools list though (sorry!) - please add this to your list of equipment when preparing to make these scrumptious LOVE-ly sweets :)
This is one of our easiest tutorials, recommended in conjunction with our "How to make a basic cake pop ball" tutorial, these pops are easy for even the newest of bakers.

  • Red candy melts? What are they and were would get them from? I live on the GCoast as well?

  • @AliBell70 You can get them from Wheel & Barrow near David Jones at Robina Town Centre, or from Cake Bitz at Southport Park shopping centre. Try to get the Wilton ones if you can - they're a little easier to work with.

  • Why do you say "we" when it's only you there.......?

  • @UniqueBeauties05 - LOL, I'm a Gemini (multiple personalities?) - I guess that's what makes "us" so creative :)

  • I just received a phone call and was asked to make giraffe cake cops!! Very unusual, any suggestions? I googled some images and only came up with 5 and some look like horses :( I have to make these Saturday.

  • @DivaDee1281 - Interesting task and not much time to come up with something! Let me put my mind to it today, and I'll get back to you later this evening. I may even be able to whip up a new tute just for you :)

  • @AliBell70 candy melts look like chocolate buttons they are often colored, they taste like white chocolate unless they are flavored. they melt in the microwave and have the concistancy of chocolate. in fact they are basically colored chocolates used for decorating :0
