The Justice Department closed its two-year criminal investigation into AIG (NYSE:AIG) and said it will not press charges against the insurer or its senior executives
· Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) unveiled the Streak, a tablet with a 5-inch screen based on Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android operating system
· Toyota (NYSE:TM) suspended sales of the Lexus LS vehicles in the U.S. as the company waits to receive new parts following a worldwide recall this week
· The Justice Department began an antitrust inquiry into Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) and its role in the digital music market following allegations that the company used its market dominance to persuade music labels to block Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) from exclusive access to soon-to-be release music
· Qatar reportedly expressed interest in buying part of the Treasury's stake in Citigroup (NYSE:C)
· Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) edged out Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) as the world's largest technology company by market capitalization, with a market value of $223 billion, compared to Microsoft's $219 billion
· China's State Administration of Foreign Exchange denied reports that it's reviewing its foreign exchange holdings of euro assets, calling the speculation "groundless"
· Federal authorities alleged that a Disney (NYSE:DIS) employee and her boyfriend engaged in a plot to sell insider information after multiple hedge funds reported the scheme to authorities
· The Census Bureau's second Q1 GDP estimate came in at a lower-than-expected 3%, down from 3.2% in the first estimate, and lower than consensus estimates for 3.4% growth
· Toys "R" Us filed for an $800 million initial public offering
· BP (NYSE:BP) estimated that the cost of the spill in the Gulf of Mexico has reached approximately $930 million
