A little update on my life and some work on the Sea Ray. I also have my plan outlined on how I will be putting in the foam.

  • hopefully your cardboard doesnt clog the weep holes when it deteriorates.

  • That looks great

  • good luck to ur mom

  • Maybe this is a really stupid thought, since I have never done this before.... but... how would it work to use 1/4 in pvc pipe with multiple holes drilled in it and run it parallel to the stringers down to the drain holes (rather than cardboard tubes or balloons). Would that work or would it only be allowing a backflow of water into the other compartments and foam?

  • I wonder if instead of the cardboard tube to use the pink foam cut at an angle and glued in like you did the bulk head later.

  • my dad passed with the same thing, i hate to say it but when they slow it down it comes back worse, good luck to you my friend

  • @FriscoJarretts Hope your Mum gets better, I haven had web access for three weeks. You´ve been busy!

    cheers Will.

  • i wish your mom does alright i think the ballon idea is a good idea , i dont think the ballon will pop under weight but maybe when it starts to cure and get or warm , i would test the ballon idea i think its a winner
