Lake Harriet Yacht Club and Courage Center (both in Minneapolis, MN) cooperate in this non-profit program that gives people with different disabilities a chance to learn to sail. 2009 is their 3rd year and there are 10 participants on a regular base. Mini 12 or 2.4 m Illusions boats are used. Only one person fits in these small boats. They are accessible and easy to navigate. A great crew of volunteers teach sailing and keep the participants safe.
