I like how back then the announcer would tell you alittle something about the eppi coming up, it's like today no one ever cares.

Yeah, you're right. It was called the Pinwheel(that's how it's actually spelled) channel, I was just focusing on Nick. And it could've been 1981, I read somewhere where it was 1979.

Actually Nickelodeon was called the Pin Wheel Network when it first debuted.
It was changed to Nickelodeon in 1981 I think.
