Dude , i cant get into DFU mode no matter how . tried over and over again.. my apple logo seems to load up even before 10 seconds is over .. if is lesser than 10 seconds nothing happen the phone seems off.

dont let it fool you its soppose to look off

to put into dfu mode

turn ur iphone off while pluged into the cpu

hold the power for 5 seconds

then hold the home while pressinf the power for 10 seconds then let go of the power and keep your finger on the home for 15 seconds

yo man im in the middle of downloading everything and i just wanted to say that i think your vid is amazing. Thank you soo much for posting it. I woke up this morning and went to see if my iphone(1st gen) updated from that 3.0 firmware and when i went to my i iphone it said your sim card does not support the iphone. I was like FML but then i saw your vid and i was so happy. THANKS AGAIN MAN. I really appreciate it. SUBSCRIBE EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried restoring the downloaded firmware from Itunes, but it says the firmware is incompatible... i tried 5 different .ipsw's i downloaded and its all the same thing... im pretty sure im downloading the right version but its not working... and also if i try to browse for the .ipsw in redsnow it says "unable to recognize specified .ispw".... can someone help????

there is sumthing wrong with you computer the ipsw is incomplete this usally happens from the computer or internet provider try from another cpu

is red snow gonna affect the phone like yellowstone or something ? and should i do this if i unlocked the phone at a mobile store ?
