I have great respect for both. And why are you hating on the flute? And I believe that Nick is very soulful, but you don't need to exert your opinion by saying someone is crazy for thinking otherwise.

Nick is by far the most conceptual, soulful, technically-efficient, modern, forward-thinking, tradition-respecting trumpeter in jazz right now as has been for a while now. Thanks for posting rare footage of this rare band. I never got to hear this band live, I wish I could have. One of the few "big bands" I would have cared to have heard.
