Don't forget to whatch in high quality! i did the music for this sequence as a homework for my film music class at the Conservatory of Mons. I do not, I repeat, do not own any rights for the video. I only made this alternative music for it.

  • oh...

so you think you can improve on Thomas Newman?

  • @bbear8 Nope, I love the original. But the images inspired me to do a little something too.

  • I don't know, though I like what you did with the sound, I think the original also had a great soundtrack going with the title sequence. It's like wanting to re-do the video of A-HA "Take on Me", it's so original and nicely done, that it would be very hard to top. Overall, I like this soundtrack as well though.

  • @luigicamp69 I don't think I wanted to replace the original (which is genius anyway). The purpose was mainly to have a nice homework to present! And I wanted to give the whole sequence a view from another angle, maybe...Thanks for your comments :)

  • Awwww that's good! I reaaaally love it!

  • @Eriam91 Oh, thank you very much :)

  • This is quite epic. I love this music.

I would appreciate it if you renamed your video to something that distinguished this as your song. Before I realized this was your song and that this song was awesome I was kinda pissed, like I'd been rickrolled. You should put your song name first and then "to the series of unfortunate events credits"

And for those looking, AFTER YOU CHECK THIS SONG OUT, the real song is Drive Away by John Murphy.

  • @alexsimescu Over all I liked what you did. When I saw yours, somehow my mind went straight to this video I came across a couple of years ago. It's so nicely done. It's a composition of the movies "The corpse bride" with "Nightmare before Christmas" all in sync with the song Dead man's Party by Oingo Boingo. Check it out /watch?v=_UbGtjnluyY

  • It would have been more courteous to put "new music" or "remake" in the video's title; I was expecting the original.

  • like if the ending sequence was better than the whole movie

  • As anyone found the actual end credits though? Original music and everything. I can't find it anymore.
