Fat guy is an idiot. Electricity from ANY source - coal, nuclear - is NEVER steady and uniform throughout the grid. Total strawman argument.
Furthermore, you cannot simultaneously complain about a task being "too large" for a population to do (convert coal jobs to wind, etc) and complain about not providing jobs. Caldicott is 1000% right: we need to mandate switching coal and nuclear jobs to wind and solar etc.

Whoever this guy is who says solar and wind won't cut it alone doesn't take into account that with mandatory vasectomy laws, we can cut the human population down to one tenth of what it is, and we will be able to sustain.
