  • Excellent Landing. One slight remark... hit the spoilers and reverse on front gear touch down.

  • WHY?? lol

  • Cos it's a procedure text book procedure. All gear has to be on the runway before yo hit the spoilers and reverse. Sims are there for precision - up to you at the end of the day.

  • oh really !! ok il loook into that check this video out , this air india b777-200 clearly has his nose gear off the runway while reverse action and spoilers are deployed

    search in google

"A Day At Birmingham International Airport"

  • great choice on the song! commercial top gun feel to the whole vid :P

  • Do you like the X52 PRO? Tempted myself

  • n1ce land1ng!

  • lovening your laning though but matt has a point spoilers are on all gear touch down not just your main gear. to see why try landing with parking brakes on. it has a simmilair effect. im not gonna say the effect just try landing with parking brakes on.

  • woah u were all on runway then u suddenly pitched your nose up. not the best ever takeoff ive seen.

  • @DAMIAN483 If you don't know.. dont fly

  • Agree with you FSXcaptain, Spoilers can be auto armed, but reverse thrust is operated manually. 'Normally' after all wheels have touched, by pilot or Flight Engineer.

  • No you are damaging the gear if you activate reverse thrust before nose gear touchdown so Damian isnt right. A plane which cant slow down enough if not activating reverse thrust directly after touchdown arent allowed to land on a runway at all. Its called Airport Services and Permit (ASP)

  • Actually you are right about the reverse thrust but the spoilers are being armed and automaticly activated by aircraft systems on main gear touchdown

  • Actually youre wrong there which makes me not believe you. The spoilers are meant to be activated on touchdown. That is why you arm them. But... Reverse Thrust should not be engaged until AFTER nose gear touchdown. If you activate Reverse before nose gear touchdown the landing gear can slam down into the runway and be damaged. So you need to read your "Pilot Books" a bit more im afraid.
