Millikan is an extraodinary contributor it American science (he was very good friends with Bohr, einstein - he nearly convinced Einstein to work @ caltech) and all of this criticism is misguided by envious second-rate scientists.
Goodstein clears up this whole "removing data" talk proving millikan was Scientifically sound. GOOGLE search -

sweet video for several reasons:
1. it has one of every animal ever made.
2. it made me think hard enough about the work of Robert Millikan to temporarily stop referring to him as 'Robert the Milkman'.

At first I was like... "who IS this..." then,when I found out, I lol'd.
