Bengbu city

We traveled from Hefei to Bengbu. Along the way at a rest stop, we saw some posters warning people against unsafe driving. We went on to Bengbu where we visited Pearl Park. Retired people there were singing patriotic songs that I was told were from early Communist era, but that I did not need to worry about being there as an American. Indeed they were right. We were soon surrounded by smiling faces with people wanting to talk with us and wish us very warm greetings.
