@chiprommel i hear you. you know bathory and venom are often cited as the true beginers of BM. and i allways said bathory started bm. They truly brought something new musically. they were absolutely brilliant. i love bathory. as for venom the only new thing they brought was their image. and the name black metal. other than that their music is total shit. ive allways been about the music not the image. so i say bathory started BM fuck venom

@cryostation I never said I agree with them! haha

Itsok.

@chiprommel yeah well they werent black metal. they invented the name not the genere. i dont think venom can complain. they were a b level thrash band. they provided inspiration for the birth of a genre.

Enslaved is so fucking amazing! You don't even need to be in an altered state for this music to make you dream! That is the sign of truly good music! BUT Listening to Enslaved and drinking Mead in front of a fire with a hot girl on a cold winter night is one of the best things in life!

@cryostation I agree with you mate.... But if you talked to Venom they would tell you that Black Metal is English! hahaha

hmm...Vetrarnótt...Icelandic. Winters Night. There is a song from the sixties that is named Vetrarnótt.
music lesson 101 for newbs: Enslaved early albums on the vanguard of a musical genre so completely new that it took the world by storm. yes this is black metal not about how heavy the guitar is or how fast the drum. but how much of a mystical template is created in order to project the true gem of this art - the poetry. bm is nothing without the poetry and its nothing without the pagan beliefs whcih it projects. without this spirituality and msyicism in the nordic paganism there is no BM
