Preety impressive for 2002, but what you said in the description isnt true. Freelancer looks better, Homeworld looks better, Freespace looks better, and EVE is just ahead of every videogame currently existing. My opinion anyway...

@TolSatha sorry, but:

1) freelancer is not RTS

2) notice not only FX/particles but also dynamics. Do you feel the mass of battleships the same in this game and in those games you have mentioned? IMO ships in Homeworld are blown like a bubble in a half of a second with a tiny scrap left. But HW was a great game too by BTW

HOLY SHIT! I don't believe they achieved such graphics, in 2002! on an RTS GAME!

Most of 2011 RTS games looks worse than that.

@drakenlorde They are good, but not bleeding edge for 2002. Look at a demo of Imperium galactica 3 (2003) and it's explosions are hard to tell from television.

Wish this game would damn well work on win 7 :( crashes after a certain sound plays after i get a station up and running. May stick a spare hard drive in and install xp just to play this game

@TolSatha none of thos has the detial when something blows up its just goes boom, in Haegemonia ships gets torn apart with smaller explosions then a massive one.

Is there any game like Master of Orion 2?

I like the idea of conquering planets and having to explore tons to find the right planets. I dont feel the massiveness in Sins, homeworld, or GALCiv 2 either.
