HELLO GUYS - This is not Lang Lang BEST version of La Campanella. Listen to the other version "Lang Lang - La Campanella ( Liszt ) In London - The PERFECTION is there. It´s a video which begins with a counting...5, 4,3,2,1... Here, he´s only showing technique. There, he really play it better than anyone on this planet.

I for one think that Lang Lang is one of the greatest pianists of the 21st Century. Guys, listen to yourselves. He has amazing technique, he feels the music to the point he doesn't even look. He LOVES IT GUYS! Who cares what type of exterior facial moves he does, it shows he feels it. Please, you guys can't deny his virtuosity and class.

Evgeny Kissin has a wonderful interpretation. So does Yundi Li. Not his studio recording, but I saw a live performance in which Yundi played Liszt's La Campanella, Rigoletto Paraphrase and Chopin's 4 Scherzi. His La Campanella was flawless, he never made a single mistake (not even one) and the interpretation was fantastic. It's on youtube somewhere. :)

@cathiechan23595 he is been playing since 3 years old...performance sometimes means exaggeration. Rock band with a drummer would hit a drum like if he is playing so fast and make it look good. An electric guitarist would do vibrato over and over to make himself look good. Lady GaGa would dance and try exaggerate performance to look good. LanLan is doing the same thing. Simply following the rule of music sheets is boring and dead.
