Code Pink is barbaric.

The entire senate has illegally ignored our constitution and have sold their souls to the Military Industrial Complex, spending our nation into bankruptcy, only an idiot will stick around to pay for their mess.
-
@danz177 Unless of course someone like Ron Paul becomes president and refuses to enforce federal law over state laws. I refer you to the Texas State Board of Education case.
-
@mjh012363 Then there's no worry about creationism being taught in schools. Great!! So, it's not a concern then. Good to know.
-
@danz177 "..if a state wants creationism taught in school, the majority will vote.."
There's that matter of "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion.." thingy that says you're wrong on this one.
-
@danz177 "Social justice can be provided at the state level."
Unless the state is too poor to like MS. or AL. That's where rich states like CA, NY or AK play a role in helping via the Fed. Gov't.
"Environmental policy is better served at state level."
Pollution doesn't and has never observed state. You're a libertarian ideologue plain and simple. BTW I am not a communist. I do not believe the state should own all means of production. I just don't believe corps should either.

@mjh012363 If you take the Federal government out of education, then you're left with state government intervention. This is more easily controlled by the people. If a state wants creationism taught in school, the majority will vote, if it doesn't impede on the rights of the individual, then it will be implemented. This then becomes a state by state issue. Same with all social policies, it's a better system than Federal one size fits all. That's why it's written in your Constitution.

@mjh012363 Let me address this one a little more closely. The Tea Party wants government to obey the rule of law, the constitution. Global warming & creationism are distractions. Social justice can be provided at the state level. OWS is a mixed bag, where the message is being distorted. OWS want corruption between gov & corps to end. The vast majority also want an END TO THE FED, like the Tea Party. They have more in common than you think. Environmental policy is better served at state level.
-
@mjh012363 Ron Paul wants to reinstate the constitution, your founding document, written to constrain the government & empower local state governance. You want a socialist run dictatorship, is that correct? Otherwise known as communism? Communism only works when power is decentralized right down to each individual citizen. When it remains in the hands of the elitist international bankers, it becomes a fascist dictatorship. Becareful what you vote for. Ron Paul represents freedom, & empowerment.

@danz177 I'm confussed. I just explained what Ron Paul wants (what the tea party does) and you STILL want him to come to power???
Haha, he was kind of a badass old man.
