Might seem a stupid question but is it possible to be harboring internal fat under a ripped six pack?
-
@4154wife surely body fat % is more accurate or multiplying body fat % by BMI
-
That woman did look a bit saggy but I'd never guess 38% fat
-
so if im maybe a normal weight of 101pounds at 14 so im obese now??
-
great 165lbs. i am a TANK. OR I COULD B A LINEBACKER. BOY I AM OBESE.

Terminology is incorrect.
Obesity has been more precisely defined by the National Institutes of Health (the NIH) as a BMI of 30 and above. (A BMI of 30 is about 30 pounds overweight.)
-
This is common sense.
BMI just measures weight to height.
There are bodybuilders who are healthy at 190 lb and are 5'8" with low body fat; A BMI calculator would say they are obese, but it would be wrong.

So I guess "scientists" can't stop scaremongering overweight and obese people.. now they turn to the actual healthy ones.. and trying their luck on them.
Maybe we should be more concerned about the fact that we could be frying in North Korean radiation rather than developing diabetes or heart disease eh?
