(Pure) electric cars...
NO mufflers or exhaust pipes to rust-out.
NO spark plugs or wires that fail.
NO water pumps and hoses, leaking poisonous anti-freeze.
NO Air filters and oil filters to clog-up.
NO exploding gas tanks:
(7,400 fires and explosions occurred, each year, from 1994 through 1998, or one for every 13 stations. On average, two people died in those incidents, and 70 were injured, each year, according to NFPA.)
NO middle-east oil monopoly.

Dude, besides all those things, probably a lot less maintenance. I mean crap, moving parts and rubber hoses break down, but these things seem like they can last a good long time if properly cared for.

En Costa Rica, un pais con alta produccion de energia hidroelectrica, estos vehiculos serian una excelente opcion, ademas de las cortas distancias que se recorren dentro del pais. Espero que estos vehiculos se produzcan en serie y bajen de precio muy pronto. :)

Tesla Roadster design is by Lotus..
Their secret is the 700 pound Lithium battery
pack, and yes it does top off around 165 miles per hour, and gets over 250 miles between charges. An economy model is expected to follow once they recover development costs..I hope everyone in Hollywood buys one of these sweet toys..

Their "Economy" model is code-named "WhiteStar," will be about $50,000-65,000 and be competing against the BMW 5 Series. Tesla has signed a lease for a dealership in Palo Alto, about 2 miles from where I work. The real ecomony car is code-named the "BlueStar" and will be about $30,000. Of course, all of this depends on the company not being bought out by anyone else, or any of the larger car companies putting something out with similar technology.

Top Tip. Don't take a woman to a car show..in the last second of this clip you can hear her say "are we going..." The most incredible automotive advancement in 100 years (if not ever) and missy can't wait to move on....bleedin typical. haha

Actually, we had were there for about 5 hours, and this was the 3rd time at this car. I wanted to get one more video, and she was paranoid about getting a parking ticket. It's all good. It was her idea to go, anyways. She wanted to see the Aston's and an LP640. :)
