@KNJensen it is a tv show. it's like watching grey's or ER to be clinically accurate. it is meant to be entertaining. if you want true to life realism, get the DVD's of Paramedics on Discovery Health

I wouldn't mind if they brought Trauma back, but however toned it down a little bit. One of the reasons it couldnt atract viewers like Emergency! did is that Emergency! attracted viewers ages 5-90. Trauma only targets ages 20-40. It was also a major disrespect to the Fire and EMS communities. Almost nothing in this show happens in real life. If they did all the same things that they did for Emergency! in the 70's, I think they could make a REALLy cool show. Cut out the sex, and stuff like that.
