why is it that people automatically see the bull-terrier as a fighting dog????? o.k they have that reputation in the media,but i think that 98 percent of bull owners disagree the fact that they own a fighting dog. Our bull-terrier is such a great loving dog,she's like a child,she likes to play and act like a clown and she is very sweet,not aggressive in any way,like most of them!

Most of them are absolutely gorgeous and sweet and can't say that of a lot of other breeds but media... pfff Snoet and Yip (therefor the song) were great together and Yip really wasn't the weaker one here believe me. Unfortenatly he died after he was hit by a car we will miss him forever...

A video of two dogs being excercised and getting along and just because one of them is an english bull then comments end up about dog fighting... Bit sad, because that's never gonna help the image of bull bred dogs

@bluegama500 Size doesnt matter when your talking about the american pitbull terrier. Any dog that can beat a dog that is 3 times its own size is the champ in my book. Sure they can be beaten by a dog thats 3 times there own size and even then they have a chance. If a pitbull was the same size as a kurdish kangal or even close too, you would see the kangal run for the hills like it had seen the devil.

when I got my bull terrier, my cousin asked me: why did u get a bull terrier? do u want him to eat u when he grows up? it gets me so frustrated when people think that way!!! Bull teriiers are very funny happy and friendly dogs!! they migth be fighting dogs, but they fight other dogs! not people! and those bullys who fight, can't be blamed... the owners are the ones who should be blamed! this is what I told my cousin!!

Labradors are the most common dog bites people get in the UK,yet the media never ever seem to report this.I wonder why? I carry a snippet out of the paper in my wallet where a black lab disfigured some kid and you're lucky if it's 40 words long! If that was a Staff/English/Pit/Rotty or anything demonised by the press,it would automatically be front page of every red top in the land!

@tricktrack500 yup, maybe, but most asian dogs kill your bt pitbull abt or sbt with one bite. What is your point. Those dogs weight 50/100kg. And i don´t know why it matters. I´d rather have an sbt which can get around with most dogs, then most of the pittbulls here,whichare owned by stupid people and haven´t trained the dog at all. Sad for the dogs, cause pb can be great dogs. It´s about streetcredits......

Finally someone who sees that a pittbull is just a small dog, which sizewise are quite strong.

But a lot of owner (especially here in holland) take one, just for their image. They don't care about dogs.

A presa caneirio or bully kutta kills a real pittbull in seconds. But how many real pitbulls ,and i mean real ones are there walking around....5% at large

@npgiovani Another pit bulls fanboy i see. I've had a lot of you guys. And I'm getting quite sick of it. Size actually does matter a fair bit in the dog world. Pit bulls were brought in pakistan years ago but couldn't compete with the bigger fighting dogs over there. They were simply too small and not strong enough, not to mention they have no external protection.
